ATLANTA, Ga. — MELT, an Atlanta based sports and entertainment marketing firm, was presented with a Silver Stevie® Award in the Marketing or Advertising Agency of the Year category in The 12th Annual American Business Awards in Chicago last Friday night. Among MELT’s work honored was their activation of ESPN College GameDay on behalf of Coke Zero; their activation of their 12th NCAA Final Four; securing Reese’s as The Senior Bowl title sponsor; the KIA Motors activation of the SEC, and their 26 million dollar capital raise for Playon! Sports.

steviesNicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Friday, June 13 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel.  More than 400 nominees and their guests attended.  The presentations will be broadcast by the BizTalk Radio Network this week on Tuesday and Friday nights.

The 2014 American Business Awards were presented on June 13th in Chicago. The banquet for the new products & tech awards will be on Friday, September 12 in San Francisco.

MELT was chosen from among 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry. Organizations were judged in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others. MELT was honored among other prestigious companies such as 97th Floor, OgilvyEntertainment, Sony PlayStation, and many others.

Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 240 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
